Royal Horticultural Hall

J&C Joel and Triple E have worked together to provide 56 motorised remote controlled roller banners, together with three motorised acoustic banners, 14 dividing curtains and an array of other decorative curtains to the Royal Horticultural Hall, Westminster. This is one of the company’s most prestigious projects to date.

Roundhouse

J&C Joel has manufactured and installed several curtain and tracking systems in the newly refurbished, high profile Roundhouse performing arts venue in London’s Camden Town. J&C Joel was asked to provide a bespoke track and drape system that would withstand the rigors of touring productions whilst being mindful of the general Roundhouse aesthesis.

Mill Theatre

J&C Joel have supplied an award winning (Plasa 2003, Award for Design Excellence) Unibar lifting system for the €14million Mill Theatre in Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin. The nine 4-line Unibars are each designed to raise and lower up to 400kg on 10m long suspension bars.

Palace Theatre

Drapes specialist J&C Joel was commissioned by historical theatre consultants Theatre Search to create and supply a completely bespoke set of drapes for the newly refurbished Redditch Palace Theatre. The theatre has re-opened as a major receiving house following a £4 million facelift, with many of its original features restored to their 1913 splendor.

Scottish TV

J&C Joel have supplied and installed two new perimeter track systems and a selection of chromakey curtains, blacks and white cyclorama material to the STV studios at Pacific Quay, Glasgow. One of the tracking systems is in Studio 1 which is used to record and broadcast the flagship daily news programme Scotland Today, the weekly Scotsport, plus a number of special programmes.
